Over the weekend I picked up box sets at Target for both the Cap and Spidey Marvel Legends series. Sweet figures and tons of villains!

So I finally ran across the Cap Marvel Legends today (I've yet to come across the Spider-Man ones save Superior which I hear has QC issues). Honestly, the price scares me. $22 for a Marvel Legends figure? WTF? That price is out there.

The figure I settled on was the new Baron Zemo. #1 issue I have with the figure is well his paint apps are wonky. The yellow on his feet and hands don't match his legs and arms. WTF?

Then there's the place for his sword which makes the figure look awkward. Still, the sword and pistol aren't bad. They're loads above the MU Zemo's accessories in which they can be held by the figure.

Final thoughts: AVOID. I feel like I got ripped off.

As for the 3.75 inch Cap figures? I bought the Skull which on the plus looks more like the movie version than the first wave Skull did. On the negative he feels so light compared to the Thor: Dark World or MU figures.

His articulation is about the same as the former's but he's more cumbersome with that freaking coat. Plus the only accessory he's got is a freaking Jet pack? No guns or a Cosmic Cube? The Winter Soldier in the line looks awful with zero accessories too. Hell the first wave Winter Soldier from the original Captain America figures had better articulation and accessories then the movie one.

Damn these latest figures suck ass.

the new Marvel Legends Infinite Series The Amazing Spider-Man 2 figures, are hands down the best Marvel Legends we've ever gotten in my opinion. I even picked up two sets!

fucking love them.
almost wish they'd come out with a whole new second set.
only thing that sucks is the the Spider-Men in this series are a tad shorter than previous Spidey figures

So I finally found the Mattel's new 3.75' line of Batman figures. First impressions... Yeah that about clinches it. I am totally astonished at the fact that Mattel did something alright.

Though the Batman figure for the line (both of them) are kind of weak. The Arkham City one is kinda better than the regular version.

I bought Deadshot, Batman (AC), Bane, and Mr. Freeze (AC). I didn't buy Azrael just due to how horrible he looks and the plastic on his blades and sword look REAL bad. Also the line reminds me of Iron Man 2 figures. One regular Batman and Mr. Freeze had small paint issues on them.

The one Mr. Freeze though that I picked just surprises the ever living heck out of me. The detail. The heavy plastic. It beats the living shit out of the Cap and Amazing Spider-Man 2 figures out there in the same 3.75' inch.

WHAT CRAZY WORLD AM I LIVING IN?!

For Zechs

Exclusive: My Little Pony unveils customizable figures

From phones to Twitter feeds to fancy coffee drinks, we live in an increasingly customizable world. So why shouldn't kids be able to create their own toys?

This fall Hasbro will release a new line of My Little Pony products that allows fans to easily assemble their own ponies. The "My Little Pony POP" figures and play set will literally let kids "pop" in new hairstyles, wings, outfits and what have you.

Today I have your first look at the line, which includes kits to build characters like Pinkie Pie, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Rarity and Applejack. Later this month, Toy Fair attendees can glimpse the items in person.

Managed to pick up the AIM and Hydra variants of the Captain America Infinite series this weekend. Of course seeing how rare they are I immediately put them on sale. :-D

I just started collecting Marvel legends figures a few months ago. Now I'm hooked. If its a Build a figure I'm interested for the most part. Between Marvel and DC I'm working on 4 different figures. Its crazy. I do like displaying them though. :-D

The reason why Flint and Cobra Eel are two different colors is due to one of them will be a convention exclusive. They are all slated to be TRU Exclusive (save again that one variant of Flint vs. Eel).

Low Light, Baroness, and Night-Viper are re-releases from the old 25th (Baroness), Pursuit (Low-Light), and Night-Viper (Retaliation). Save for Baroness, they were figures that fans wanted but production was low on them.

This wins Toy Fair.

There's another set btw with Beachhead, v2 Storm Shadow the Firebat (that fits in the TD) and an outpost.

I wish Hasbro would stick a fork in the 4" line already. Better to be on hiatus than offer the lazy re-offerings that didn't sell the first time.
