I know there are a few people here who read this series back in the day when Wolfman and Perez were doing their thing. I just figured I'd see who everyone's favourite character was back then. Also has that changed in retrospect?

Probably Robin / Nightwing, with Changeling a close second. I liked Jericho too, until DC ruined the character.

Still a Dick Grayson fan, though I don't trust DC with him.

Even though you're talking about my favorite series/run of all time, and 3 of my 10-15 favorite characters of all time regardless of company, this is still a no-brainer, and I'll go ahead and rank 'me all in order:

1. Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing -- my all-time favorite character, period, in the book that earned him that ranking
2. Wally West/Kid Flash/eventually Flash
3. Donna Troy/Wonder Girl/eventually Troia
4. Cyborg
5. Changeling
6. Starfire
7. Raven
8. Jericho

But I loved 1-7

Eh, probably Kid Flash.

But all of them except for Donna Troy are good characters.

The Old Doctor

I find it a hard call to make. Mostly due to separating the older from the new characters at the time and well, just liking them all.

I guess for the older characters it's Robin/Nightwing. For the "new" characters it was really Cyborg. Starfire came close to her being a bit naive and powerful, but really it was Cyborg for dealing with all he had to deal with.

Not much has changed so not much has changed in my views on the characters except perhaps with Starfire and Raven. Starfire is as known, become a bit of a tart and I don't like that. I prefer the classic version of the animated one. As for Raven, I became more of a fan of the animated version then the classic.

I was barely a fan of Jericho, did not care for Terra as she was a double agent from day one. After 1984, I was no longer reading NTT so the later characters had no real affect on me as I didn't really know them.

I do think however, Changeling was something to note. He was perhaps of all the older characters, the one most changed. Kid Flash's grumpiness was new, but okay. He was like Quicksilver lite. But with Gar... he was something new while being something old at the same time.

Hard to say. It's as a group that I enjoyed them.
So of course DC has scattered them.
PS PEREZ IS THE MAN!!!

Wally West all day long for me. That said, it was one of the best written Dick Grayson...ever?

Speedy only showed up for a gust-appearance, he was never actually a member under Wolfman and Perez. just one of the multitude of things those 2 creators got 1000% right with that run. ;)

1) Nightwing. I love the character and he had such a great progression under this run.

2)Cyborg. I like what they did with the character. He was cool and more Marvelish than almost any character in the era of DC that I can think of. Also his design has always imo been Perez's best.

3) Starfire - I love the storyline involving the Citadel.

4) Wally West - Now Wally is easily my favorite DC character but I like him best as the Flash and he was a little to mopey in NTT for me.

5) Donna Troy. I love Donna and she had some great stories about her. However I hate Terry and that afro sporting creep was everywhere in that run.

6)Jericho - I just never got the character.

7)Raven - I just don't like her. Trigon is cool but Raven just got to melodramatic for me. Also I've always sort of hated her powers. I kind of preferred the cartoon's take on her.
