Blood was cool for his first 2 or 3 appearances...the initial 2-parter, the stuff right before Judas Contract, and the big finale in New Titans around issues 25-30 with Azrael (the angel, not the bat-dude). any time the character has been used or even mentioned since then has been shit.

Ah... I see you're not aware of this part of the Nu52 Teen Titans ...(you lucky bastard) honestly, I don't remember if Lobdell wrote this part or not, but the designs were in his titan title as well. The tron joke the first thing that came to mind back then. The supposed design of a villain called "Harvest," who came from the future. I do believe he's still at large. Just like Lobdell. In being very very small where it counts. The mango never lies.

Not only are they aping TRON, they're also swiping those Future Foundation costumes, and I'm pretty sure that's Rictor from New Mutants/X-Force.

There's a reason why Teen Titans was so popular.

I always liked Wonder Girl - well written character, strong, steadfast the team's rock & heart. Simple but classic costume too.

As for NTT villains, my favourites were The Brotherhood - Houngan, Warp, Plasmus, Phobia.

NTT #29 was my first issue - in fact that with about a dozen other DC comics (amongst them Arion, Arak, LSH, All-Star Squadron) which I picked up at the same time were the first DC comics I ever read, in fact ever saw. Never used to see DC stuff in the UK and suddenly one month, my local newsagent had a pile of them. I was blown away - I'd read Marvel before, in the form of UK black & white weeklies and the US 4 colour stuff had just started to appear but I'd never seen DC before. Absolutely loved it and was hooked from then on.

NTT is one of my absolute all-time favourites. It's almost depressing to read them now - there's just nothing today that compares to it. So very good.

DC did collect all the Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans stories in 3 Omnibuses.

I own all 3 but they're not the best collections. Certain stories are collected later and they skip years worth of stories because they only want to do Wolfman and Perez stuff.

If that's all you're interested in then they work. Volume 1 looks like it's out of print but 2 and 3 are still available.

Ah, I was kind of hoping DC also had tpbs. Are those omnibuses good? Proper binding? No gutter loss?
