Srsly tho, it is cool to see how many people namedrop The Outhouse as a comics news source over at Bleeding Cool.
The front page has enough merit to even have haters! (a true sign of success  )

You mean the fact that three paragraphs just said "The Outhouse, MUHFUGGAH" over and over and over with no punctuation?

Totally unrelated, I'm sure.

Pfft. We had haters before we had a front page. You remember, you were there.

The Outhouse: we had haters before having haters was cool.

I have a friend in a band with one, but it's not like I know Brian May or anything.

If so, who?

I don't think that I know anyone famous enough or accomplished enough to warrant such recognition. I mean, aside from the original Internet celebrity, MoneyMelon, I haven't frequently rubbed shoulders with the elite.

How do you define "knowing" someone?
A couple of weeks ago I was at a party with Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. But I had never seen her before (not in the flesh, at least).

I've met and worked with a few folks who have their own Wiki pages, but I'm not friends, or even close acquaintances with any of them.

The one person I fully expected to have a Wiki page actually doesn't: Brendan Reichs, son of Kathy Reichs (of Bones fame), and co-author of the Virals series. We were friends in law school. His book series has a Wiki page, but he, oddly enough, does not.

I know a few other folks who are semi-famous enough to support a Wiki page, but no one has bothered to put one together for them.

So he went to law school and then became a novelist?

He's done quite a few music videos and is nominated for some sort of MTV award this year for one of his videos with Chance the Rapper.

And, he won. Beat out Arcade Fire which is pretty cool. http://www.mtv.com/ontv/woodieawards/20 ... eo-woodie/

I don't know... it's just that I know a lot of people that went to law school and that are now lawyers.
