I was so happy that you picked the same one I did. I thought the bubble gum totally made that cover but the (my opinion) really basic winter soldier one looks to have it won.

I was sad that I picked the same cover as you. I immediately knew it was going to lose. :-(

It's rare to see 4 out of 6 covers nominated on books I actually read. The covers I usually nominate are even on books I don't read.

Hey, even you have to admit your bad luck when it comes to picking the winning covers. Me on the other hand. 8)

VaderTheTrader is always talking about his comic book problems. I've bought three comic book commissions so far this week and I'm still looking for more. :DancingObama

A). Don't try to distract me with the truth about my cover picking ability. :groucho:
B). What is a comic book commission?

A comic book commission is when you pay a comic book artist to draw a one of a kind piece just for you. I'm currently up to 24 commissions and 9 sketches.

Yes, sir. I grew up reading pretty much any Marvel books and Batman. And I followed that passion to work in tandem with one of those companies.

When you do a commission is the artwork generally done on a blank cover variant or just on a separate paper, canvas etc.... I've been seeing quite a few blank variants with different artists own artwork

I never have them draw on a blank cover variant. A lot of them don't like to work on them anyways. Most of my pieces are 11x17. I have a few that are 14x20. Even the smallest size of 9x12 is bigger than comic book dimensions.

Interesting!

Side note: I'm really loving Wolf Of Wall Street right now!!!

As good as I hoped it would be!

Thanks, when you've been collecting comic books for as long as I have you eventually try to find something with a little more meaning that you can show off to people. Some people like to collect the original comic book pages(I have a few), but commissions are my thing.

One of my favorites.
