As much flak I give Marvel for their relaunches/renumberings/etc. I have to admit that it's seen me pickup a number of books that I wouldn't have otherwise. I was only reading Hawkeye from Marvel
I haven't tried She-Hulk or Black Widow and will likely trade wait. All-New Invaders, Ghost Rider, and Punisher don't interest me so much.
Ms. Marvel has been a wonderful surprise. Before issue #1 I figured it was just a gimmick "Muslim superhero" story, but the team have handled it in an interesting and innovative way. It's simply a fun and enjoyable book, even though I'm well outside the intended audience.
Magneto has been an interesting take on the character - sort of channeling the Nazi-hunter Magneto from First Class - and the writing has managed to prop up the art, which I find a little too rough/scratchy for my tastes.
I'm not a big fan of Allred's style, but he has really channeled his inner-Kirby on Silver Surfer, and surprisingly I found it worked. Art-aside, issue #1 was OK. I'm at least onboard for #2.
Loki #1 was great, #2 was terrible, #3 was fantastic. Art has been strong for all 3 issues, I just found #2 to be light/lacking on story. #3 was one of my favourite issues of the year so far.
Fantastic Four #1 was unremarkable in every way.
Elektra #1 was a beautiful, beautiful book. Del Mundo absolutely kills it. The story... well... It's not exactly ground breaking stuff. Basically, it's 1995's 'Assassins' film. I'll be back for #2 thanks mostly to Del Mundo.
Secret Avengers has been really, really fun. Ales Kot continues to climb up my list of favourite writers given what he's done here and in Zero.
Moon Knight is pick of the litter for me, however. This is groundbreaking stuff.
