Now both of these books are now taking up residence on my coffee table and I haven't had the opportunity to make a dent in either! Stupid life getting in the way! :x

I ordered the second one today. And the 2nd East of West. And the third Thor God of Thunder. And the new Jim Mahfood book.

I also bought the third Wonder Woman trade and Brother Lono today. And I found my copy of Fearless Defenders that I ordered to my house and not to my residence.

Hence the bump of this thread.

I probably won't get the Amazon order for a week or so. :( I have time to read though. And catch up on new comics.

Wonder Woman vol. 3: Iron. Awesome! I absolutely love this series. The artist rotation has been consistent and the story just keeps building to something good. I really hope this doesn't fizzle out though. I think this is the best thing DC has done in a while.

Maybe its just me but I've been slogging through Fearless Defenders. Not that its bad, but I'm just bored.

I don't know, maybe I'm missing it, but I'm not seeing the great strides of feminism that people were claiming about this book. The banter was okay but nothing to write home about. I know there's one more trade so I might read it but this didn't live up to my expectations.

I usually think something is bad when it is boring me. :P I didn't think the series was all that great myself. I was forcing myself to read it at the end.

Sometimes a book can be a bit boring but can hold your interest. V for Vendetta is like that at times, as are many Alan Moore works. This one though... nah.

I'm surprised it got canned before A+X though.

So Mind MGMT Vol One was amazing...

Next up for the Graphic Novel Club is V for Vendetta, which I have never read before. I am enjoying it so far.

Just finished reading Uncanny Avengers Vol 1. I really liked that a lot. Currently reading Uncanny X-Men Vol 1.

I also have Saga Vol 2 on deck.

On the recommendation of a friend, I tried the first volume of Fables. Really enjoyed it. I plan to pick more up but first I have to clear other stuff off my plate, like Locke and Key 1, and 3 of the Gail Simone BOP TPBs.

I've read V for Vendetta a couple of times. I loved it so much. There are moments that really get to me, and make me feel emotionally shaked ...

My big box of books just came in the mail. I have a bunch of stuff to read now.

(it's actually "shaken")

Uncanny X-Men was pretty cool. I never thought I'd read a book featuring Scott that I liked. Also, I want Bachalo to do a Hawkeye book some day.
