I've tried to get into some of the other newish Vertigo books and can't. Scalped is a little too straightforward and I don't really like the art. Vikings don't interest me at all so Northlanders is out. YL is the only one that satisfies my violence/mystery jones. They really need a good fantasy/mystical kinda book in the Sandman/Lucifer vein though.
I just bought the 2nd Moore Swamp Thing volume by the way. For some reason I had been avoiding it but it's awesome so far.
I bought the first MOore Swampt Thing trade a couple years ago, but never read it yet.

Thats what I was thinkin, cheap trade. Scalped is one that every time I read it I go: Damn. That was good.
and then forget about it until it comes back out. I do dig Madame X. and Unknown Soldier is pretty cool so far.

I am digging all of Vertigo these days. I think Haunted Tank is my favorite, it is just funny.

Yeah, I always figured it'd be dated or corny somehow but it's not at all. The first trade was awesome and tells a pretty complete story.

I have no idea about Madame X, maybe I'll go the trade route. The cheap 1st trade is a great move by Vertigo. US, I read the first and I dunno, didn't catch me.

I read the first DMZ, not my thing.
I liked Jack of Fables but the last trade was a bit weak I felt. I forget about Fables, been a little while since the last trade. Still good as of the last one though.

Yep.
Madame X is cool, different art than I usually like but it works well and the Phantom Stranger is badass in it. Etrigan makes an appearance and I thing Wesley Dodds Sandman is coming up.
