It's no worse than watching a full season of something like The Sopranos and not liking it. Maybe you could tell after 2 episodes you didn't like it, but you hear people say all this good stuff so you force yourself to give it a full season to impress you.

It's not like watching the full first season of Fringe or something that gets mixed reviews. If it's a highly praised work, it's worth trying to get further into it to see if you can understand why so many other people like it.

I've never done that.

If I can't get into a show after three or four episodes, it's done. I haven't even watched Dollhouse since the first episode, despite the hype on this board or it.

I thought it was a very fun concept that had a tough middle section. First few trades and last two trades were great, as was the "short story" trade that branched off from the main plot. I really wish there had been a second collection like that.

Fun, consistent art throughout, but the story had its ups and downs.

Dollhouse is more like Fringe than The Sopranos or something though. It gets mixed reviews and isn't universally praised.

Still, different people do different things.

Pujols hitting the ball far makes you happy.

There are few pleasures as simple as that.

You are just as easily amused as everyone else.

Forgot to mention - Steve Dillon.

Always liked his art and he didn't disappoint in Preacher.

Would love to see his stuff since then but that would mean getting Punisher or Wolverine.
No thanks.

Pujols is the second coming, so there is the religious angle there.

Ennis/Dillon Punisher was awesome, though. :(

I don't rush into stuff and the Moore thread got me thinking with people saying Ennis is a better writer. :smt043 :smt044 :smt043 :smt042 :smt044 :smt043 :smt046
