In Unheard Of Act, Max Landis Waits Until Comic Green Valley Is Completed Being Turning It Into Film

He's clearly unfamiliar with how comics work.

Source: Film Buff Online

The first issue of Green Valley debuted October 5, 2016 and the ninth and final issue was released June 14, 2017. According to this timeline and how comics normally work, Green Valley should've been optioned for a movie in early 2016, instead of October 2017. This is a clear example that Max Landis has no idea of how comics and Hollywood works, despite riding his dad John Landis' coattails his entire career.

Green Valley is set in a mythical past where four disgraced knights looking for redemption discover that the world is far more mysterious than they previously thought. The comic was published by Robert Kirkman's Skybound imprint, so it'll presumably be in production under Skybound's first look deal with Universal.

The collected hardcover, with art from Giuseppe Camuncoli and Cliff Rathburn, is set to release October 25.
