Even the Dark Night Detective couldn't solve the mysteries of Boston Brand's fantastic secrets! Now, Batman is back, confronting Deadman about who was really behind his death. Was Boston Brand's assassination a test for the League of Assassins? Why does Batman think Ra's al Ghul was involved? Got my comics today. My comic shop only had the glow-in-the-dark Deadman cover left. It's kind of cool actually. As far as the story I'm not quite sure what's going on yet but the art sure is pretty. :P

Batman: The Devastator has the standard origin story like the other one-shots but this one is set mostly in the present and on Earth. It ties in with what's been happening in the main title and starts getting crazy-fun with the plot. It has a real sense of urgency to it all, especially the scenes with Lois and Jon.
Tony Daniel does a bang-up job with the art, too. :smt023
