Try as I might, I am just not excited for the forthcoming SOLO. I hope the movie flops.

I would have liked Luke to get a proper farewell but his scenes were mostly horrible and I blame the director for that.

Considering how little Eherenreich features in the trailer, I am fairly certain that his delivery is still going to suck, despite Disney hiring a coach

The problem is the quality is suffering. The Last Jedi didnt do the box office numbers Disney expected. Forces Of Destiny toyline isnt a hit and the upcoming Solo doesnt have much buzz about it either. That and falling toy sales for the Star Wars brand should make Disney think "yeah maybe less is more" but they arent listening.

Mark Hamill Is Concerned About Star Wars Oversaturation

Hamill said "I will say they should pace themselves because you don’t want to over-saturate it. I said to Disney, ‘Really? Five months after we come out comes [Solo: A Star Wars Story]? Can’t you at least wait until Christmas?’ But they’ve got things booked – they’re doing Marvel and their own movies, so that’s beyond my [purview.]"

Yoda Actor Doesn't Understand Fan Backlash To The Last Jedi

He said "Yeah, there’s a whole backlash. I couldn’t understand that whole backlash. I didn’t get it. I thought it was a great piece of work. I never understood that backlash. I’m somebody that works with the script, and if the script is there and I believe the script is organic and right for the moment and the character, then that’s kind of all I think about."

Not sure how well the DVD is selling overall but I was at a store earlier today buying Easter Eggs and from the massive Last Jedi display it looked pretty full.

They may not understand the fan backlash to The Last Jedi but its undoubtedly affected the box office for The Last Jedi and the various merchandising for the movie because its the diehard fans that support products and if you piss them off or lose their support, then they dont go to see the movie over and over (and over.) Same with the merchandising - its like a domino effect. The problem is that Disney has taken the diehard fans (and fans in general) for granted for far too long and they have no intention of slowing down the Star Wars train, if anything they are speeding it up with unnecessary prequels (Solo) and other films (a new trilogy of films not connected to the main characters.) Its like watching the Titanic speeding to its ultimate fate with the iceberg - you know its going to hit, its going to be messy but they are speeding along regardless of the warning signs.

Actually enjoyed The Last Jedi, though I do understand people's issues with it. Thought it was more enjoyable than The Force Awakens.

Still believe Rogue One is the best of them all, though.
