They're going to need a lot more backup and manpower.

Can more than a dozen heroes be enough to thwart the villainous plans of Dr Zardox? Can you believe this two-part teamup was 53 years in the making?

Here's how Archie Comics describes this momentous first teamup:

Riverdale High's new substitute teacher is very odd. Snubbed by the scientific community, he plans his revenge -- on the students of Riverdale High! It's going to take a team of people with some mighty powers to stop him. Archie Comics' two most renowned superhero teams are going to meet up for the first time ever in this special mini-series!

I was somewhat disappointed with this issue. It was a lot of padded dialogue and the action didn't really go any further than what we saw in the preview. The SuperTeens from the Silver Age would have kicked the asses of Zardox and his dumb robot in a page or two. These Teens get taken off the table in one panel!
Zardox makes a comment that these SuperTeens are cosplayers and I'm beginning to wonder if that's not the case here. :?
But since it's a 2-parter Archie Comics knows they have us .. or at least me .. hooked for the next issue as well.
