The Blackest Night Checklist?

Is this real?

I still got a BAD feeling about this. Maybe just cause good old Dan is now the one behind this unlike Sinestro Corps War.

Looks like DC are finally working out why Civil War, WWH and Secret Invasion were successful, and then copying it.

Well the thing is. That's why Sinestro Corps Wars was sucessful. It's this on a larger scale.

This is nothing like either Secret Invasion or Civil War in terms of tie-ins, both of which crossed over into half of the Marvel Universe titles. It is similar to World War Hulk, which was basically what DC did with Final Crisis (in terms of tie-ins).

I also have my doubts about the number of tie ins determining whether an event was successful or not- and it seems like (with the exception of amazons attack) both companies events have been successful for the last 5 or so years.

I can kind of see why there'd be a Superman tie in, if he's fuckin off to space for a while, but why the fuck would Batman and the Titans be involved in any of Blackest Night?

Because everything at DC has to have Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman (who will show up in part 2).

Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

Guess that means I'll be trade waiting on this event. Matty just can't justify adding that many comics to my pull list for the event.

Fair point.

But won't those former-titans-now-super-powered space zombies be in space fighting the GLC?
