Yea, but I CAN draw that's the difference! :)

I do think though, that your main figure needs to be a little shorter compared to it.
If his head was at around where his shoulder is now, I think they might match up better.
I was messing around for a while with streetback ground for my piece but I just couldn't get something I thought worked.
I really struggle on backgrounds.
So I took the easy way out.
Another minor thing I think would really make a big difference is the manhole cover in the foreground.
Spending longer on it because it's at the same level as your character would really add to things. I'd think that you would be better off with out that detail if you wasn't going to fit the other objects in that area.

Thanks for the crit. I see what you're saying about the height difference and foreground detail. Backgrounds as just not a natural thing for me yet so they's usually thrown in as an afterthought. I planned this one out a bit more than usual but any crits I get are totally appreciated. :)

Yeah, they are another one that I don't know so well but I think I at least will drop the blood and muscles for it.

Here's as far as I think I will get for the deadline but I think I'll spend a bit more time on it anyway.
I'm happy enough with Apollo but I my time management got messed up by some family things.
So the background started off with a street scene behind them, which got cut back to just the giant guy and he was only sketched out to get the idea across in the end.
I seem to remember something like this happening but I might just be mixing things up with the Ultimates.

Actually, I was just sorting out my files and I realised I should just submit this rather then the half finished piece I hoped to finish.
Not as gory but it works for the theme.
