parts 1 and 2 are up!

http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episode ... 9221340025

Pretty good stuff :smt066

The story probably could have been told just as well without the deaths, but today's writer's can't seem to get by without that "gotta have shock value" crutch.

Oh well... its just very a minor flaw in an otherwise excellent return to the cartoon format.

Yeah, that sucks!

Just saw the first part, I'll watch the rest on tv.

I'm just happy to have a GI Joe cartoon back. Its not my favorite type of animation though. Hopefully it'll make up for the movie that you just know is gonna be horrible.

I'll never understand why theres ninjas in a military unit though.

Looks really good to me, makes the new live action movie look even worse though. Also makes me wish that the comics were better too. I miss having cool Joe stuff.

Ninjas have a history of service in the US military.
The American Ninja movies are a testament to their hard work.

Ellis delights in killing characters.

I relish in watching him do it.

I was a little surprised, both were pretty up there on the B-List.

I often attribute it to a weakness in writing ability. Quite common with today's "superstars."

oh well.

If it were Brubaker we would have gotten two deaths and a resurrection.

Hmm I love it. This is how a movie should be! And come on for all it's freakin huge line-up not a freakin Joe ever bought it in the cartoon. To see someone bite it means everyone is fair game in this.

Still, really what can Major Bludd do that Firefly, Destro, or the twins can't? Also is Steve Blum VAing every male character? :P He's Duke, Wild Bill, and couple grunts. Also that voice.. that sounds like Charlie Adler the dude who VAs Starscream on Transformer movie. That would be beyond awesome if he was able to do what Chris Latta did.

Fraction, Johns, and Kirkman are my three favorite scribes at the moment, and they kill lots.

They are good about maintaining a create or resurrect to kill ratio though.
