I'm super excited for Jason Aaron mulligan week, it's hard to make everyone love Wolverine on the interwebs so it's nice that Aaron's getting another opportunity to impress those among us not yet won over by the greatness of the Scalped scribe.
For those who haven't read it, the first Ghost Rider trade was amazing and now that Tony Moore is on art duties the series should be even more amazing. The series is so amazing in fact, that Marvel is going to publish some of the trades out of order because of course the Marvel Collections department is amazing. Seriously, whatever collections editor at Marvel made the decision to publish the trades out of order, if you're reading this please kick yourself.

Ghost Rider #34
as selected by Punchy
WRITER: JASON AARON
PENCILS: TONY MOORE
THE STORY:
"TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS," PART 2
Among the truckers who work the loneliest stretches of highways at night, there is a legend. The legend of the Highwayman, the hellbilly terror of the hammer lane, a former trucker who was cursed by the devil and now drives a mystical black rig, preying on the souls of anyone foolish enough to drive his highways come nightfall. This issue, that happens to be Danny Ketch, a man who knows a thing or two when it comes to curses.

Phonogram: The Singles Club #2
as selected by King Impulse
story KIERON GILLEN
art & cover JAMIE McKELVIE
Getting over an ex is never easy. When they've laid a phonomantic curse on you, it borders on the impossible. In the second of seven stand-alone stories set in a single club, PHONOGRAM's cynical heart cracks wide open. PLUS two complete back-up stories with art from EMMA VIECELI (HAMLET, COMIC BOOK TATTOO) and DANIEL HEARD (COMIC BOOK TATTOO, CHIMPLANTS).
If you would like to join the group it's easy. Just post a review and I'll add you to the member's list. As long as you stay active, eventually it will be your turn to make a pick.
With $4 comics becoming the norm, the economy being what it is and the growing popularity of mail order services the Review Group recognizes that it's becoming harder and harder to commit to participating each and every week. As long as you can post one review per calendar month you will stay in the member's list. It doesn't matter if you post your review the week of it's release or if you post it later. Going forward, there is no such thing as a "late" review.
The only request I make with the new format is that if you don't plan on posting a review or if you're going to be posting late is that you drop a note in the thread so that I can keep track of who is active and who isn't. The Spreadshee of Doom is thorough, but it can't read your mind.
Comics are to be scored on a scale from 1-10. 1 being suck, 10 being a damn good comic. Beyond that, there's no right or wrong.
If it's your week, you must announce your selection by 5pm EST the day Diamond releases it's shipping list. If you do not announce your pick at that time, I will add a poll to the thread that will remain open until 12pm EST so that the group can make the selection for that week. To ensure that you know it's your week, I will PM you when Midtown's list goes live on Thursdays.

Probably, but I've got a good feeling about Viking.

Invincible #61 should have been chosen instead of Incredible #60
It was AWESOME!

Agreed. It was a bit slow in the beginning and the viking-speak took a few pages to get used to. The ending saved it though and I'm looking forward to the trade. The art was fantastic and I loved the Golden Age format and the paper.

Wrong week to pass, Aaron/Moore killed it in this issue.
