Seriously, my backlog of trades has grown into a mountain while I've been burning through The Wire which I just finished up Sunday night and am already halfway through the first season again. Awesome show with amazing characters. Fuck fuck fuck mortherfuck fuck me fuck fuck fuck.

I'm also working my way through Fringe. Anna Torv's hotness totally makes that show. Enough rambling? I hope so. Now I know why Yoni stuck to insulting people most of the time.

With $4 comics becoming the norm, the economy being what it is and the growing popularity of mail order services the Review Group recognizes that it's becoming harder and harder to commit to participating each and every week. If you do not announce your pick at that time, I will add a poll to the thread that will remain open until 12pm EST so that the group can make the selection for that week. I am hoping though that Ennis cranks up the shock for this series, as the main title has felt a bit tame since Hughie got his wings. That probably says more about me than it does G-Wiz though.

...I will agree with you about The Boys seeming tame, I know I should be shocked but the shocking stuff before was funny so you could laugh at it and be shocked... I am not sure if pedophilia is funny, I will say what happens at the beginning of 30 made me laugh.

The way they go about dealing with the situations are different, but the initial monster of the week style setup at the beginning of each episode is similar.
