So you're giving up your anti-Ghost Rider argument from a couple of weeks ago then?

:P

Great read. It's been a long time since I read The Long Halloween, but I think this is probably my favorite book that I've read by Loeb & Sale.

As soon as I put down the laptop, I'm going to start...

Punisher: Welcome Back Frank HC

I wanted to re-read this before I read the new Resurrection of Ma Gnucci book but since I was too lazy to dig out the single issues I went ahead and bought a cheap copy of the oop oversized hc on eBay.

Ha! I saw a preview for that the other day and thought it looked pretty good. After your review I might check it out.

that looks pretty cool!

I'm about to start reading From Hell, and I'm also reading The Sandman vol. 1. I started reading it years ago, but couldn't get into it. Now I'm liking it alot more.

Hey Amlah, I finally got my Vizbig Vagabond V. 3 and amazingly enough Pluto 3 on time, but no 20th Century Boys Vol. 2...

Also for those who were interested in DMC, it is not out until June 9, 2009.

Same. Vagabond and Pluto are both being shipped in my BOC this month with a no show for 20thCB. Viz must have had a production issue with the book or they got damaged at Diamond or something.

That was my third time reading WBF and it's still just as fun as it was 8 years ago.

Naturally, my next read is...

Punisher: War Zone - The Resurrection of Ma Gnucci

I read the first chapter online this morning, goofy but fun. I'm curious to see the official translation versus the fan translation that I read.

chap22 wrote:still working on Steranko's Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD right now, but i got a whole bunch of stuff on the way in the mail. once they arrive, i'll probably go in this order:

Astro City : Confession
Hellboy : Right Hand of Doom
Secret Invasion : Incredible Hercules
Flash Presents : Mercury Falling
Thor by JMS vol. 1 -- issue 1 bored me to death, but i've heard so much good about this lately that i'm giving it another shot
Jack of Fables vol. 5 : Turning Pages

finished Steranko's Fury over last weekend...that was good shit.

finally received my stack of other stuff on Wednesday, and started with Incredible Herc: SI that night, even though i thought the first Herc arc was OK but nothing great. glad i gave this book another try, b/c i loved it. so much so, in fact, that i went ahead and bought Herc: Love & War yesterday. gonna read that next before i jump into some Astro City and Hellboy goodness.

I am rereading this, because Viz assigned it to me when they sent my comp pack...

Which is a good thing, I missed a lot the first time around (I still like Pluto better though :p)
and then I will read this:

I tried reading it on Zuda, but once you get about 30 pages in, their reader becomes a chore. I do remember loving the hell out of what I read though.
