you know, other than special trades, for me dc is slowly dropping out of the radar in terms of ongoings.

Final Crisis im going to wait for in tpb (SC) IF the story turns out well. And the only ones i really follow are JSA and Fables (tpb format).

Hell, they're even soliciting indies now - Demo isn't exactly a DC book. Guess the media rights followed Brian Wood after a time?

i love the indie books, and had been totally inmersed in them until Quesada started headhunting talents for the new Marvel age, and i went along with it.

If you're a fan at all of things like DMZ, check out Wood's Channel Zero. I think Ait/Planetar published it. Also, check out American Born Chinese and Deogratias. Two great books.

Channel Zero is the stuff dreams (FUCKED UP NIGHTMARES) are made of.

There are a few really interesting-looking Bat titles: the Steve Niles one looks ace, as does the Nicieza / Maguire run on Confidential...

The Niles book does at that, and Kelley Jones is a perfect match.

I LOVE Jones' Batman, so am very glad to see him back on one of the books. I've already added this to my pull!
