Got back from it and my friends and me went on a tirade after it talking about how bad it was. The film was WAY too long first, the action was terrible (other than the scene with optimus beating on the three dudes), the dialogue was awful ("this machine was designed to eat suns!" Oh really! are you SURE you don't mean stars). In general it was pretty bland and not even mindless entertainment, personally. One more thing, how did this movie get rated pg-13 with the number of obscenities and sex jokes volleyed at the audience, not to mention the tasteless racism with the twins.

My audience was pretty cool, clearly they enjoyed it which is neat (they applauded several times to stuff like the twin turning out to be alright), but it was pretty funny to get yelling reactions from the kid in front of me. "MEGATRON is back! OH NO!!!" "OPTIMUS, BEHIND YOU!"

But hey, this had explosions and closeups of Megan fox's ass and slow motion with her boobies bouncing. Michael Bay is a genius. EXPLOSIONS

Well, that was a pile of shit.

I didn't know Optimus became a gestalt Transformer or the Autobot Matrix of Leadership should be carried around in a tube sock.

Another thing, Michael Bay is clearly a huge fan of people walking in slow motion. The army dudes that do absolutely nothing in the film get like three scenes of 15 seconds straight of them walking slowly. This movie will make for excellent drinking games in the near future.

The audience by me was great. Mostly because of myself and a friend next to me. I screamed, "NOOOO!!" At the Shit Moon Rising trailer. The audience shrieked at Turturro's butt cheeks. This just goes to show ya the FCC is all about the money though. :roll:

I can't believe it got away with a ton of the drug and language. Sex stuff is ok. Been awhile since that sort of thing flew in a PG-13 movie.

A friend of mine was trying to design a drinking game for Michael Bay films. Part of it was to take one shot whenever a military installation or headquarters was shown, and to take two shots if it was shown in slow motion.

Even with just that, you'd get alcohol poisoning halfway through the film.
