I don't have proof other than this from his friend on deviantart and someone using his AIM account claiming to be his sister, but Addison Sengco aka Genetic Freak passed away on Jun 27th from Pancreatic Necrosis.

Addison was a great friend and will be missed greatly by those lucky enough to have known him. never having a bad word to say to anyone, Addison was always optimistic and fun to speak with. Always ready to give anyone a chance and expand on the group of people in the twentysomething's thread to leave a legacy of sorts on the internet. He was always proud of that thread and the people who helped make it what it is. I know people were worried about him and his safety due to the bad weather in his country and it is very sad to find out it was much worse.

R.I.P Addison.

: Osias Addison Sengco put up a good fight but it seems fate has decided that he has had enough- he passed away early this morning.

I am now feeling both sad and happy. Sad that someone as young as him(he's barely 30) should go, but also happy that he ain't suffering anymore and I had at least got to see him one last time. Kung nasaan ka man Ade, mami-miss ka namin.

This is Anika, addison's sister, he passed away last june 27 bec of Pancreatic Necrosis

addison sengco (2:25:15 AM): he's in the hospital since May 10, because of acute pancreatitis

addison sengco (2:36:19 AM): he had an operation june 17 and 25

That sucks. I haven't talked with him as much since the NuRama changeover, but he was always a great guy. Hopefully his family is OK. RIP.

Fuck, Addi was one of my first great friends on the internet and one of the handful of people I spoke to in private IMs. I just can't believe this, a lot of time when people die, their passion, or generosity, or just their plain niceness is exaggerated in order to make the death more palatable for those left. Not so in Addi's case, he truly was a fantastic person, with a great passion for art and for people. I wish I could say more, I wish I could wax poetic about how much respect I had for him, but it all sounds cliche and nothing I say can do the man justice.

R.I.P Addison. We'll all miss you.
