That's terrible, but........how does that even happen?

I've been to Shea probably 30 or 40 times and honestly, those escalators aren't really that precarious. I can't imagine how somebody would fall from one.

God, that's a horrible turn of events. The poor guy's family....


And honestly, this is why I look forward to Citi Field. I love my Mets, and there'll always be a sentimental place in my heart for Shea, but.... the last time I was there, it was a shithole, and that was close to twenty years ago...

Oh, man, I feel old.

I actually didn't mind the purple. I liked to think that the stadium was fashioned from the gutted remains of Barney. :)
