Niam!

Twigg and I have sorted that he's going to come up to Manchester on the 1st of August (A Saturday) to hang out. We're gonna go to my favourite club in the evening for a DJ set by Ryan Jarman and then he's going to stay at mine. If you want to join us, you're more than welcome to come up and stay as well, as is anyone else willing to make the journey to Manchester.

Yeah, it wasn't good in my opinion. I still love Paparazzi though.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of hers, I have to here disco stick way too often on the radio at work.

Btw, what've you all been up to in general? Haven't talked to you guys in awhile.

I have found her songs are annoyingly catchy, but I still can't stand Lady Gaga

I'm saying this slightly early, so my opinion can and most likely will change, but i think I'm gonna skip the Scott Pilgrim movie. Why? Because no one fucking looks like their comic book counter part (barring Stephen Stills. young Neill is passable too, but still not great) and its really pissing me off! Cera would be better if they just fucking straightened his hair and made him work out slightly. I mean, he is getting paid to ruin this movie for me, so he should really be more similar to the character and it bugs me that he could pull it off with a little more effort. But you know who pisses me off more? The fucking actress that plays Ramona. All her hair looks like its a solid lump of coloured hedge that has been glued in place. She could at least make an effort and style/colour her natural hair so it looks better. I mean, yes she is potentially damaging her hair by dyeing it, but like i said, shes getting paid she can fucking afford to get it fixed after filming is over!

Its really annoying that Edgar Wright seems to be putting a lot of effort into the movie, yet even if the actors are top notch, they are pretending to be characters they have made no effort to look like.

If it helps you feel better, I will not be seeing this either, as I have zero interest in the franchise in print or movie form

I'm waiting for the first trailer to say anything about the Scott Pilgrim film, I don't like the acting choices. I've recently (upon watching nick and norah) don't like the idea of Cera playing Pilgrim, but i'll wait to see it. I agree with you Rav though, they could make more of an effort to look like the characters.

edit: also I'll be on most of the night because i'm studying for a class and it's crucial I get an A in it. Test tomorrow, so i'm studying. (one of those classes I'm sure the people that will hire me will look at)

Exactly. Even with modern wigs today and not dyeing the hair, they could do a better job than the mess Ramona has on her head.

So you're studying..... by being on the outhouse all night? :P

Yes but this is because you are silly and won't check out what is a quality book for no good reason. :)

Twigglet has made a great thread in the Kanye West one

We, as his TW alumni, should congratulate him.

Distracting myself, the two time i've spent a day focused solely on my studying I got C's, if I study in spurts it just works better for me.

Right now I was just studying the sociological imagination while singing along to the pokemon theme song. :P If I'm bored I'll sing definitions to the theme beat.

I dunno. These days days Twigg is more like the wild dog we need to put down... Mark me Twigg, your days are numbered.
