That's a great idea Terri! Pass it along to superginraix and see wht he comes up with. I haven't participated in the new group yet, but this would get me off the sidelines and in the game.

Done and done... I too will contribute, even though my skills are weak.

BTW -- I know it's almost a moot point seeing how many of us all post here, but GF did post on the NuRama a bit. Did anyone break the news to some of our lost brethren there?

Yes. Mr. Black was kind enough to handle that somber duty

My skills are non-existant, but I might give it a shot too. Let me knew when the threads up (please and thank you).

RIP, possibly one of the first people to make me feel welcome on OldRama. Pleasure to have conversed with you Addison.

I was going through the box of stuff I had to ship Addison after his work schedule slowed down. A very difficult chore, but it had to be done. I'm trying to decide what would be the best thing for me to do with them. Early thoughts are for me to donate them to a library since he loved to share his interests with all of us. Addison was full of recommendations on new books, movies, art, and so on. Donating his books to a library seems the best way of continuing his joy of broadening peoples scope of reading.

Also, for the a memorial, I believe that the art thread is a great idea. Of course monsters and horror would be the best subject for a week honoring our departed friend. In particular, Addison was always fond of the Frankenstein motif. A second possibility for the art thread would be a take on Jack Kirby art.

Donating the books to the library sounds like a wonderful idea and, as you say, exactly what he would have wanted under the circumstances.

Agreed. That sounds like the best plan.

Has the tribute thread been made? I can't find it.

The art group is doing it. Perhaps someone could provide a link? Once everyone has made their submissions, we'll figure out something special to do with them.

Just because I don't know how to spell the language of some tiny African nation doesn't mean that I'm wrong in thinking that your attitude towards women is 100% wrong. Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.
