Apparently, the bad reviews by HoJ and I broke the thread.

I'm not getting my books until tomorrow.
I must say, I think my review will be more positive, I like nothing better than an unlikable protagonist, and Jason Aaron is very adept at them.

Eh, I think he stepped over the line between "Flawed Hero" and "True Villain" here.
Jack from Fables is an unlikeable protagonist. The Human Flame is an unlikeable protagonist. Fat Cobra's not that. He's a likeable protagonist, except that he has a dark, dark secret that's just too much for me to tolerate.

What's a little mass-murder between friends?
If we can accept Hal Jordan, Fat Cobra has it easy.
I can buy Jordan because he killed a bare handful of adult GLs.
Fat Cobra killed his own kids. And some of them
are kids.
Not cool.
I actually would have given it a lower score, but I gave the book a pity point, thinking maybe it would have been better if I followed Iron Fist even in spoilers.

My haiku will make more sense after you've read it.

Hal has plenty of wenches!
Carrol Ferris, Cowgirl, Arisia, etc.
He even nailed Kyle's girlfriend Alex in one of the GL Annuals.

That would at some point require you to become clever, which I'm guessing would require magic and magic is make believe, so I'm sorry, but I just don't see this happening for you.

Here's a limerick from Isaac Asimov, speaking of clever:
There was a young woman of Sydney
Who could take it clear up to the kidney
But the thrust of Alphonse
Barely reached to her mons
So he left her unsatisfied, didney?

I wouldn't exactly call subjecting us to a year of Sire clever.
