It drives me nuts that DC lets that property lay fallow.

I think it's more that D.C. see that character and world as Warner Animation's so they are just not that interested. Yes, Harley is different but I think that was more to get Dini to do some comics than anything else.

That is because Terry was young is learning to be Batman and not a pre-established (beep) like Bruce was when he started his costume career.

Halfway through Irish Coffee Volume 2, I think after the 3rd one I will be able to write my review.

The Mice Templar: Destiny #1: Glass/Oeming/Santos Image $3.99
I was able to pick this book up for free, (Returned Tales from the Corps #1)and I’ll say I would of paid for it. I really dug what was going on here. The art is very slick and smooth and the writing is really interesting. I never read the first Mice Templar but I felt this issue let me know everything I needed to know to read it. I do plan on track the trade down at some point maybe this weekend. I did think the ending was just kind of there, maybe it was just me, it almost felt a little forced. But I can’t really complain about it. I enjoyed it and will be back for more of it.

I debated this score for a while, but screw it.
Overall - 10.

Review is live...
Oeming pulls all the rabbits out of his artistic hat here. There is a breathtaking splash page, one of the most magnificent ever, certainly among those that feature owls. There is a bloody battle sequence that plays like the opening D-Day salvo of Saving Private Ryan, only here, it's with mice and swords. There are fiery visions, monstrous creatures, eerie forests, and illuminated spirits.

The dynamic layouts, the emotional fortitude of the cast, the sturdiness of the graphic narrative all dazzle, but pale in comparison to Cassius’s recounting of the legend of the wood. The page is turned and like the technicolor brilliance of Oz, there is a water-colored surrealism that literally sucks the oxygen out of the room.

true, but if Bendis wrote that scene, how do we know? I'm sure there wasn't a complete sentence formed in any page. :P

Thank you! I'm here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitresses and try the lasagna!

Plenty of full sentences.

Making fun of Bendis dialogue isn't funny anymore.

Because I'm bored by all the bashing of it, it's not even accurate or funny.

Make a funny joke, and I will laugh 8)
