GF was one of the nicer ones on the old 'Rama. While I didn't interact with him as much as some of you, he always seemed to want to make the board fun. I remember once I got got into a gif war with the man. We spent about 2 hours straight spamming some random thread with attack gifs (I was doing wrestling gifs and he was countering with anime gifs). Needless to say, he kicked my ass, but it was on of the funnest times I had on a message board. I remember sitting there with a huge smile trying to keep up with his onslaught.

Seeing that name on the board makes me gasp and hope there was an error.

This is quite shocking to find out.

RIP Addison and condolences to the Sengco Family.

GF was one of the first posters I met when I joined Newsarama and one of the reasons I joined the the 20+Somethings Group. He was always a constant on the board with his quirky posts and his vast knowledge of wrestling, anime, manga, indie comics (he never really followed any mainstream, though). Addy was always happy to see you, especially if you didn't post in a while.

Talented artist, always a friendly attitude are the things that first pop into my mind when I think of him.

I've always considered him one of my closest friends on the board and had always hoped to meet up with him when I eventually went back to the Philippines.

We'll miss you "Hiro" and thank you.

I can't begin to imagine how difficult this has been for your family. I'm still having trouble coming to grips with the fact that I won't have the opportunity to converse with him anymore. If there is one thing I am good at, it is talking. Your brother was even better at it than me. We would literally spend hours conversing over a great range of subjects. He may be gone, but he will not be forgotten by me. I can assure you that.

I said I would draw a picture, despite being terrible at it.

Here's a quick sketch that I did. I had to trace it in ink to get it to come out enough to photograph. I was shooting for something like some of the monsters GF liked so much.
