I disagree. If you want a timeless masterpiece or whatever, then it doesn't really matter when it comes out. As long as it's good, that's all that matters.

There's also the issue of what exactly do you do, especially when the delays can be attributed to a big name in the industry.

What repercussions are going to work against, say, Joss Whedon?

I only had time to read the first 10 pages or so, but the story is very strong so far. There is a 15 panel conversation between Superman and Luthor that is brilliant, IMO. It totally defines their modern day relationship. Can't wait to finish this on the way home. :D

I read it. It's good. Worth the wait.

I read this before I went to bed last night. Really awesome!

I'm very interested to see what Zod was talking about when he mentioned some sort of secret weapon in the negative zone.

It's probably the fact that he has all the time in the world and nothing to do but procreate in the PZ. Soon there will be millions of little Zod's ready to take over the world!! There is nothing more terrifying than a 3 year old with super powers

You have a point but what's the likelihood of that happening? Personally, I think that most of the comics on the market don't have a chance to become the next Sandman or Watchmen or even the next Preacher.

I really feel that with this book, whoever was making it late really didn't give a shit that it would be incredibly late much like Ultimate Hulk Vs. Wolverine and whatever that kevin Smith book was and I think that speaks about how much they care about the product.

Daredevil: The Target.

Not to mention that 411 issue #3 was scrapped because of something controversial, and he was involved in the book (maybe the controversial part, too?).

Kevin Smith is the anti-comic fan. He shits on fans, IMO, by his not following through on projects. He was the original writer of the new Brave and Bold, no?

I refuse to buy any comics or pay to see any movies by Kevin Smith for that reason.

I bought Daredevil Target #1 and some of his comments about it really annoyed me. It was basically him giving the finger to anybody who bought it.

So guess what? Smith doesn't get another dime from me.

Ditto. I think I've exited his audience for films, anyway. Clerks 2 was shit...I learned after the fact that you can walk out of movies and ask for your money back. I wish I had done that.

Speaking of the Superman family, what happen with the Supergirl with short black hair?

I finally read this last night. Great ending, although I was disappointed about one character, but the saddness of it is probably what gave the story that extra punch.
