I think Cheedle is fucking around.
Something that everyone should know: There is no objective good and very little objective bad in entertainment media. Of the objective bad, much of it is unintentionally hilarious which gives it entertainment value for some people. If you understood this then 99% of your petty arguments would never happen. Learn to realize that you have different tastes then the guy you are arguing with and move on. And before someone calls me a hypocrite, notice that I never go in calling something bad. I always go in to defend something.

I agree, but I hope that's not the only conflict in the movie.
I see that as more of a device for organizing the group and taking up maybe the fist 30 to 40 minutes.
They should get together (Fury, IM, Thor, Black Widow, and I can see them throwing in Hawkeye) to take down the Hulk.
Succeed, but kinda sloppily - THEN find Cap and take on a real bad guy.

My take if there is any truth to this would be that the Hulk would appear on a screen or a monitor somewhere and it would be a clip from the last movie. As for Thor I think it would something minor like the Hulk. enough to be an Easter egg to give the fans something to talk about.

The only way I could see there being a Thor reference of any kind in IM2 is if the bulk of the Thor movie itself is told through flashbacks and has a contemporary framing sequence which gets reference.

I doubt this is the case 'cause people hate long flashbacks.
Maybe if Thor was half contemporary, half Asgardian, (like a LOST episode) it would be more palatable.
