I think there was a more recent article addressing almost the same thing ("black characters are contrived"). This one was originally posted back in March '08. I'm confused as to why they just posted this one.

Yeah, this was the very first one I wrote about. The recent one was about blacks and gays, etc etc. As to why this came on, I dunno.
