Me either. It's pathetic really. Heaven forbid we get an election with the two best candidates as long as it's an easy victory.

It's been in his benefit.

There was some rumblings early on "is Obama black enough" by some black Americans.

Not just for having a white mother, but also because his father was Kenyan-not a black American descended from black slaves-andalso because he had a different history than most black Americans.

That seem to go by the wayside as he became a more serious candidate and when, rightly or wrongly, he was embraced by black voters once he won Iowa and it was perceived by some that the Clintons were running a racial campaign.

According to Gary Sheffield, it does
