I found this on the web two weeks ago. All of it is true. Someone scanned and used photo shop to put Waid's original script for this issue. The result is this:

i vaguely remember this storyline. didnt kang turn out to be korvac?

whats the difference beween this and the original?

I always loved that cover. I even used it as a base for an Illustrator project back in college.

I'd have to dig out my old issue to see what the differences are.

Yeah yet another editoral mandate from Harras. Waid wanted it to be Kang but this was when Avengers Forever was coming out. So he couldn't use him. Hence Korvac.

Two pages are removed (hence the two blanks), it's less racist (the whole where Skull is romancing and then killing Eve and her multi enthical family, and Skull doesn't look up to Capt as the perfect Aryan Soldier. Plus Harras toned down the talk Skull had on Hitler.
