She's my favourite character to use in the X-Men Legends games. And Magneto. And Wolverine. And Nightcrawler.

On a non-X-men character I guess it'd be ok.

Okay, in the New X-Men issue where Jean the Phoenix hatches out of the egg and says "I was in the crown, the white-hot room" Does Morrison means she ascends to Kether, the godhead, the top sphere of the Kabbalah?

That's what I assumed, yes.

Me too. It just took Zadie Smith's The Autograph Man to bring it out of me.

Remember: a huge chunk of Morrison's writing is grounded in Kabbalistic knowledge and apocrypha, with a healthy seasoning of chaos magick there in the background. :-)

Yah, there's a Kabbalistic reading of Seven Soldiers on the the Barbelith site. I'll probably look into this more in-depth when I get a chance (meaning when I finish the essays and exams from summer school). I think it's an interesting topic.

I've also been trying to locate some decent annotations for Morrison's work.
