My brand new amp that I bought 2 weeks ago died at the end of our third song. It's been returned for a full refund and I'm thinking of buying a new Peavey Valveking 50 which kicks a lot of ass and can destroy the world.

Broken amps suckkkk.

I have some buddies who play in a band together and they had two amps die like two songs into their set.

Yeah a brand new amp should not die. Either way it is in the past and I will not let it get me down.

It went really well and we were well received which is always nice for a first gig.

Glad to hear it. I think you're better off with the Peavey anyways.

Yeah, in my experience (which admittedly is rooted firmly in the past) Fender sucks in a huge way...

Yeah me too. Once upon a time I had a classic 50 4x10 that I still wish I had but it cemented peavey as a trustable product for me.

When I had my BC Rich bass I used a Peavey. I loved that amp.
