Red Arrow is weak sauce. Couldn't he come up with a better gimmick than a color change?? I liked Hawkeye ever since I first saw him on my Marvel Super-Hero Old Maid card game back in the 70s.

Hawkeye's better than Green Arrow so he's definitely better than Red Herpes Arrow. Clint would kick his ass then steal his woman and the be like naw I can't bang this woman she's got that Roy Harper taint all over her.

Yeah its funny, he hits her once and later writers make that his defining characteristic.

For the record, I agree. Pym has always got a raw deal about that, and just when you think they're getting past it, another writer comes along and makes Jan bring it up again. I always want to slap those writers upside the head.

I just love harrassing Chap about it. ;-)

Hawkeye because he is equal and as cool as Green Arrow

I'd say your better argument would be putting poor roy up against kate, who is more likeable. Its all in the writing, wolfman had him down in new teen titans in the 80's, one trade had me really digging him.

I think it has a lot to do with writing.
