It doesn't matter what his intentions were.

I just don't think the Yankees need a distraction like that.

And also keep in mind, that sure sometimes things he does get blown out of proportion, but he's not 100% innocent either. This is a guy who got arrested for choking his pregnant wife. That gives you an indication right there.

He's burned bridges almost everywhere he's played. Even last year he resorted to the race card re: his problems in Oakland with Billy Bean.

Sure the production he gives (if he's healthy......and that's a big if) is great, but there's a lot that comes along with him.

In all honesty, we have no idea what happened between the two. He was the one who intiially called police regarding spousal abuse where she was assaulting him.

Oakland, he was benched and he didn't like it so he voiced his discontent. How is that a bad move on his part? And I don't think resorting to the race card is any sign of anything. It's already been noted that there is a severe decline in African-American players in baseball. Bradley was reiterating comments from black players who had played for the A's and had commented that they couldn't get playing time as well so it's not like it was unsubstantiated.

LA Dodgers, he called out Jeff Kent for being a teammate who isn't a leader and not a team player. How is that wrong?

The Cubs/Braves game is a throwback game, and they've gone all out, The first two innings are in black and white, old school graphics, old school camera angles, EVERYTHING. It's really neat and you should check it out if you get WGN and are at home.

Very cool.

I just got notification that my application to volunteer for All-star Weekend was accepted pending a background check. I will probably be spending time at the Fan Fest at the Jacob Javits Center and maybe at the game itself.
