Some fool in my friend's fantasy baseball league accidentally dropped Aramis Ramirez.. he wanted to drop Alexei Ramirez and wasn't paying attention.

It's too bad I'm 12th on the waiver list.

I'm not so worried, because I'm in first place with no signs of letting up and 2nd place being 10 games back.. plus, I have Chipper Jones at 3B. But it'd have been nice to have a backup like Aramis for Chipper.

It's been a nice run with the ol' Chipster, but at this point I'm trying to pawn him off for a David Wright or some other top tier 3B in a package deal.. I'm worried about his injury-proneness.

I have him on my team. He's been less than stellar of late, I've actually started Mark Reynolds of late. But he's a great player.

Who do you have for a backup right now?

Ramirez and Wright are both due to go on a major tear soon.

I almost got Beckett and Wood for Ludwick off of someone in the league I'm in with my friends, but they(probably wisely) backed off at the last second.

Give him time. He usually doesn't heat up until June, and he's been hitting around .300, so he should go bonkers sometimes soon. Hopefully against the White Sox. :-D

That's exactly how I got Wood and Hamels.

It's amazing how much of my team is guys I picked up from FA.

Quentin, Ludwick (until I dealt him), Dempster, Loney, Casilla, Snyder, Bruce
