Seriously I couldn't disagree with the original post more.

The last time Clint and Hank spoke, was when Hawkeye slept with the Wasp in Austens run, and when Hawkeye and Clint had an argument in Avengers: Dissasembled, yet here they're practically in love. It's just Slott once again picking and choosing which continuity he wants

Ok... i just read Thunderbolts and that was a little weak, I am gonna wait and see what Parker does with the Agents of Atlas before I decide to make any drastic decisions.

I thought the "commie" bit with USAgent was the best part of MA. But a lot of the dialogue seemed bad and/or corny, and the bit with Hawkeye slobbering on Pym's knob was a bit over the top. I don't mind Slott rehabbing Pym a little (or a lot) but c'mon now. Add in the always-terrible Amadeus Cho and I just wasn't feeling it. I gave the book a chance, but its just not my cup of tea.
With T'Bolts it just seemed like everyone was off, which I guess can be attributed to Parker just getting a handle on things. Perhaps he will be putting his own spin on the team instead of using Diggle's cast? Time will tell. Even though I wasn't wowed, I will probably keep with it as T'Bolts is a series I've been reading since Issue 1.

plus, the sooner all of Austen's run is retconned/conveniently forgotten the better AFAIC.

Yeah, and all that crap was ignoring the huge amount of love and respect for each other they had in WCA. Hack writers using the abuse angle out of laziness or lack of talent.

Wait so...your on Slott's side now? Or did you not read this Slam? Because this brings us right back to that Clint/Hank relationship.
Oh! are you getting the West Coast rerelease that was solicited for february? Some good stuff in there.

I haven't read the issue yet. I don't think I'd get a WCA rerelease since I have all the issues and I don't like buying trades of stuff I have in singles.

That I can understand. I'm getting the rerelease because I only have #100 in my collection as it was one of my first books as a kid.

My Box O Comics arrived and I just read Mighty.
Cons
Why do Alpha Primitives suddenly attack humans? It's like all the zombies movies where they ignore all the brains standing next to them and only go after live humans. Don't get it.
The inking. At least I assume it's the ink, ing, the last time I saw Chen;s work was on Iron Man and he seemed so much better then.
Vision/The Vision. Cassie makes a point of noting how Viz drop the "The" in his name. Yet a few pages later Viz refers to himself as "The Vision".
Pros
Hank knowing it was Wanda all along. Other have posted this as a con but I see it differently. He knew she was his old friend but as there was no apparant threat he bioded his time - PLUS - playing along helped him established his Avengers as THE Avengers in the eyes of the world.
Hank & Clint. The Austen/Bendis retcon is undone imo. Greeat team-up and dialogue. (Twig - you made refernce to the last time these two talked - I never read SI but if I read the boards correctly, that wasn't Hank anyway, was it? When exactly did Hank get switched out?)
Herc taking control of the ship and equating it to a lady.
Pietro's 'David' shot - Anytime anyone fights giant dinosaurs or beings, they always attack the shins or chest and never go for the obvious - the eyes. Well played.
Hank looking forward - not back. FINALLY!

It's true Mighty Avengers did stink this week. Slott does indeed only acknowledge continuity that he himself likes rather than working in tune with the bigger picture. Fans just like him because he insists on using the same 20 year old characterization for all his characters, while better writers like Bendis like to at least do something new with a character.

Who exactly is Twiglet?
If you disagree please say why, otherwise direct your lame sense of humor elsewhere.
