...Which is odd, because my maternal grandfather actually played for Wales before the war.

There are very few contact sports that I don't follow in some capacity. I even have a favorite Aussie Rules team.

We've got a local multi-culti cable station that runs Aussie Rules games.

Fun enough to watch, though I never picked a team to follow.

They're the two richest sporting organisations in the world IIRC (Real Madrid may be richer, I don't know), so it's a cross-marketing thing.
