At my LCS, we sold out of the New Avengers issues he was in. We never sold out of NA but when it was announced that Voodoo was in it as the new SS, all of our copies were gone and a few people who didn't even buy comics came into the shop asking for it. We decided to order a few more issues of Doctor Voodoo than we did any new series and we sold out of the first issue in less than a week and has continued to sell pretty well. We had to actually up our orders for the next few issues because people were coming in and not getting their copies.

And I visited various stores in the city and they sold out of the first issue as well and people were asking for it and didn't get their copies.

We even tried to get more copies of issue 1 and we've yet to get them and we've been ordering them since the first week when we sold out.

It would have sold better if Bendis was writing it, to address Mr. Day. Not that Remender hasn't been doing a fantastic job, because he has. I'm hoping they will do some limited mini's with the character.
