That's not the case at all. More people online bitch about how bad DC sucks or they just don't talk about it at all.

This is a site making a make up call for GSWOML, imo, and everyone dogpiling without giving it any real thought. Just going, yeah, that's fucked up.

Well, I think people were wrong about OML too, so whatever.

I still think DC get away with stuff Marvel gets bashed on.

The world had a secret meeting and unanimously decided you were wrong about GSWOML.

Bendis doesn't write any DC, how would you know?

$3.99 is standard Marvel pricing, I don't really think it's that big of a deal. Now Marvel pumping out their 57th crossover in the last 5 years, THAT'S something to bitch about. :p

I suppose senility is the only reason you could think there had been 56 events since 2005.

Siege #1

The art looks nice, and the story doesn't disappoint as long as you keep your expectations taped to the bottom of your shoes.

If you're tuned in to the current Marvel U, this book is probably something you've been looking forward to and will enjoy as it continues the chain of Events with a capital E Marvel has been riding the last few years. The issue shows progress is an 8 letter word beginning with p in the Marvel Universe, as another Stamford-type incident is used to manipulate the public and heroes of the 616 once again and master strategist Norman Osborn beats Thor by "cleverly" having a bunch of B-listers pour it on, as it were.

This review was brought to you by the letter J.

WTF is this rank?

I actually thought this was a little short in terms of exposition. Bendis has done a lot of the build up for this book in his other Avengers titles, which makes the decision to invade Asgard seem a bit rushed.

It's an interesting start, and the fact that it's only four issues is a pleasant change for an event book.
