I think he probably would have picked Joe had he been here. Between the price and the lack of non-mainstream selections there weren't a lot of other options.

That gives Amazing Spider-Man #617 a group score of 8.49. For a mainstream super-hero book, that there is a pretty damn good score.


That might be the most pretentious thing I've read on this site ...

I didn't say the comic wasn't good, I was just pointing out that your score claims this is one of the best comic books ever, which is pretty damn crazy when you think about it. :lol:

really, it doesn't - it means it is almost as good as a comic can be, I didn't give it a ten after all. There is a difference between an expertly executed comic (which would be a ten) and the greatest comic book ever....
