From the Marvel page:

"Avengers membership proved very fluid over the years. Thor, Iron Man, Pym and Wasp would all return for further tours of duty, though the unstable Pym did so in a series of alternate identities as Giant-Man, Goliath (an identity also used temporarily by Hawkeye), Yellowjacket and Doctor Pym. The four returning founders would all serve stints as team leader, too, and the group produced a series of impressive leaders over the years, notably Captain America, Wasp, Hawkeye and Iron Man."

Yeah, this alone makes me think Thor would work. And when you consider the fact that Thor's led the people of Asgard time and again, I think he should count.

But Cyke's a good choice, too.

Two choices down, my top two picks gone. Knew that was gonna happen. this is gonna be the trickiest round, I think, though the other rounds will get nastier.

Oh I know, I meant nastier in general. I just think there's going to be a lot of "You bastard!" posts as somebody gets chosen to fill an archetype slot you weren't expecting or what not.

I think Thor should have been allowed. Hell, he's done a whole lot more leading than Lex Luthor (who should also be allowed). He's lead The Avengers a few times, the Asgardians as a whole several times, small teams of Asgardians (mostly The Warriors Three plus Sif plus Baldur) many times.

And that fact that I was thinking of Cyclops is besides the point.

i'm just gonna say if u think a character should be allowed for a leader, please be able to cite specific instances.. like issue or storyline titles.. so i can look them up..
