... for my 360.

And getting it for PS3 instead.

I was hesitant at first, because I wasn't sure how the game's online mode would be for PS3, but I've heard good things from some friends who have it for PS3.

And.. amazingly enough, I just plugged my 360 back in for the first time since I got my PS3, and I got the red ring of death.

I guess I got my PS3 just in time.

Let me know when you get it and I'll play online with you! CoD4 is the game I play most often.

360's might very well be self-aware.

I mentioned to my friend that I wouldn't be playing my 360 once Super Smash Bros Brawl comes out, went over, turned it on, and got the Red Ring.

They know when we plan to not use them, and they're angry about it!

You know.. I think you're on to something. Because my 360 worked just fine (although it did make weird noises for the longest time) prior to getting a PS3. Then I don't play my 360 for over a week after getting my PS3, and the first time I plug it back in.. wham. Red ring.

How's the game by the way? I'm looking to get a new PC game.

Call of Duty 4 is the best FPS I've ever played.

The single player campaign is pretty short, but it's good.. but the best part of the game is the online mode. It's by far the best online multiplayer FPS I've ever played.

You should call Microsoft and check on that. They extend the warranty for the red ring of death issue for several years. I got my xbox like first gen and I think if it went red ring, I could still send it in for replacement.

Yeah, my 360 is from the first month of release and I sent it away to get fixed no problem

You planning on trading it in?

I may be interested in taking it off your hands.

Yes, I have, therefore, I can accurately say that COD4 is better.

Have you played COD4?

TF2 annoys me. Good gameplay but I can't get into the cartoony graphics for the life of me. COD4 offers great gameplay and fantastic graphics. The complete package.

Some of the effects in TF2 are leagues beyond any other recent games I've played. Of course, I'm pretty sure it's not all that on consoles.
