In terms of satisfaction.

If you have no job, rate your life.

1 out of 10, for many reasons. But I can support my family, and in a way that's all that matters.

Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

nobody can be a 10/10 in life if they spend time here. this place has to suck at least 1/10 or more from every poster.

Well as I say, it's for a worthy cause. My wife's businesses are up and running, but it will be a long time before they are profitable and so I do this job to support us. One day, hopefully, I can work with her and all will be well.

Also, I went from being someone who worked his way up to a senior position to being someone with a low-end job and no chance of advancement. The market here is a mess, and I'm kind of too old and too experienced: apparently, my CV intimidates employers here.

The rest of my life is very good, though. I'd give it a 10, if not for recent health issues.

If it's any consolation my father did a job for 25 years he hated to support me, my mother, and my sister.

Now he's a bounty hunter.

This presumes Jude actually pays attention to guests in his home...

Unless of course you want to play with his kids so he can play video games LOL

Um... work for me is 7/10. Most days I enjoy what I am doing, but with my recent shift in responsibilities it's tough to catch my breath.

On the plus side I make ok money.

My job and life (which lately have been one in the same) are probably a 7/10. Good, but they could be better.

My job has to be the most thankless job in the world. I don't sleep, I am the bitch for everyone here, even the damned cat, who meows at me to open doors for her and feed her. I can't go two minutes without a kid asking me a question she knows the answer to, or without the two year old climbing on something and almost killing herself. Or listening to the sounds of children bickering. The baby likes to wait until the other two are quiet to start fussing and makes me hold him during my only down time at all in the day. I also have to drag my sorry, exhausted carcass around here, cleaning and cooking. It's the only job that requires you to be a chef, maid, daycare director, nutritionist, nurse, wiper of asses, teacher and personal assistant (and I'm sure I've forgotten things) all in one for TWENTY FOUR HOURS A DAY and you reap absolutely no monetary benefit from it.

That being said, I still give it a 10/10 because I have something that working mothers don't. I get to see my children grow up, every single minute of it. I get to spend time with my babies, teach them things, and help to shape the people that they are going to be. It is the most rewarding, albeit brutal, job there is. And much as I say I wish I could work outside the house because I miss the adult interaction, I am really going to miss being home with my kids when I do have to work.
