When I set this book down the first thing I thought was: That was interesting. I'm not quite sure what this series is actually about, but this single story was quite entertaining. Fabio Moon has the ability to take a story and spin it into an intriging tale that brings each character to life.

Still, I have to ask, what exactly is this series about?

I worked late night fast food. A confrontation in the parking lot between 2 customers. Guy pulls a shotgun from his trunk. Cops are driving by. I wave them down. I run outside to make sure the cop knows about the shotgun, only to find myself staring down the barrel of the cop's gun. He knew about shotgun, and thought maybe I was that guy.

No shots fired, and I live to tell a boring story. But I can relate to the adrenaline rush. You should try to have sex before the rush wears off. Seriously intense.

Oh, and when the rush goes away, you may feel fatigued for a few hours or even a day or two.

How long have we known each other now? And you still amaze me.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, GLX. I wanted to like Daytripper. It could be a case of wrong book/wrong time for me.

At least now that I know he dies repeatedly and wrote obituaries it makes a little more sense and doesn't seem like the poor guy was harassed to death by his family on the last page--which by itself felt empty and nihilistic.

yes I know the forums are slow. I have some how found myself tasked with fixing that. I can make lots of people read the things evidently, can't get anyone to post in them... except for this Lew N. Enema character

I..don't know what to think of that.

I mean, it felt well written, it felt important, but at the same time it felt cliche'd and it did feel a bit like it was written by a college student.

I don't know, it certainly makes you think, but as I know nothing about the overall themes of the book, perhaps it wasn't best me just picking up this issue. I find it interesting how he dies every issue, but unless that comes together well, it isn't exactly an amazing plot device.

The art was very nice though.

I don't know how to score this, so I'll give it a 6.5

Still, I have to ask, what exactly is this series about?

To explore the moments of Bras' life, from what I gather. The real reason why he dies so often could be revealed later...or maybe not. Perhaps the writers want us to focus on the moments of his life rather than how he dies.
