I don't know, I will probably check out that first issue of the best of and if I like it I would be interested in a collected format, but premiere hardcover, ugh.

Didn't they just pick up from the Captain Marvel numbering or something like that?

looking at the wikipedia entry, it is massively confusing, Fawcett went under or some shit and they continued Captian Marvel as Marvelman, but Marvelman doesn't really appear till issue #25, I don't know that shit makes little sense to me. I thought he was a rip off, but it sounds more like a retool.

Thanks! It saves a shitload of loading time on the front page too from the way I used to do it. I wish I could get the popups to still work though.

I'll have to work on that.

Just because I don't know how to spell the language of some tiny African nation doesn't mean that I'm wrong in thinking that your attitude towards women is 100% wrong. Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

here's the history of Marvelman's early years:

that's some interesting shit, seems it has always had a contentious history.
