Depending on location, we have plenty of hills - and I can see how shifting from first to second constantly while stuck in a hilly traffic jam would be really annoying. I do think that people should learn on sticks, though, even if they intend to own an automatic. It's just more useful...

I know HTML isn't all that hard, but I've never taken it upon myself to memorize the code unlike most people in my generation. I just usually look up what I need.

I tried to make a webpage once, but I immediately realized the amount of additional shit it would add to the classiness of the internet.

My mom would never let me hunt. It seems as if everyone else around my home did, but I never was all that interested. Plus the hypocrisy of some hunters has completely turned me off anyway.

Plus, it's more fun to drive a stick!

It is true, you are right, but there are so few sticks here, it's pretty much irrelevant. It's something like 6% or something.

I've never been in a position where I needed to drive a stick and except for my brother in law who has a car that he's obsessed with, I don't even know anyone who owns one.

I don't know anything about cars, other than how to drive them, and even then I only know automatic. When I open the hood of my car and look in, I don't know what I'm looking at. I'll learn someday, though.

I just don't understand killing an animal if you're not going to eat it.

Granted, most people do eat the food they hunt, but hunting isn't a necessity in the world we live in.

Besides, I hate guns. Guns and cars.

When I went to Spain once, I had reserved a compact automatic. When I went to pick it up (this was in a smaller city location, not an airport) they told me they didn't have any auto compacts and asked if I would mind something bigger.
I ended up with a super-fancy Lancia Thesis luxury job for the same price as the compact.

I wouldn't want to drive a compact in Spain - they all drive like lunatics there!

It can't be as bad as Rome. I've been in cab rides in New York that were thrilling, but Rome is the most white-knuckled I've been in a cab. I swear the driver did a 180-turn to get to our hotel at least going 60 mph in a tight street.

No, Italian drivers are about the worst in the world: and Rome is one of the better towns. You should see the Milanese drivers!

Spanish drivers are pretty awful, though.
