I'm waiting for my girlfriend to visit from DC next weekend to see it.
Hopefully she arrives before the last showing on Friday.

I have actually done this once or twice.
I hate seeing stuff againg right away, so I've sworn this duplicity off.

I wonder how packed it'll be for midnight showings and if I should get the tickets tommorrow when I'm off.

There was a great shot of Two-Face on wwttd.com a while back. The make up looked incredible.
The witness said Mr Brown then called out to Ms Hay's adult daughter: "Look at this, I'm tittie-f***ing your mother!".

I dont see how a guy with half his face burned off not succumbing to infection fits in with Nolan's realistic take on the material at all.

I love Nolan's take on the material (even though watching Begins is now the fastest way to make me fall asleep). I just dont understand when people dismiss the idea of the more outlandish aspects of the genre coming into play in the films because they are a more "realistic" take on it. It short-sells Nolan and his team. If they can make an aristocrat dressing up in a costume beating up psychopathic clowns, burn victim DAs, and Qui-Gon Jinn palpable for the masses, I would completely trust them with pretty much anything from the comics.

I trust you'll be first in line for Batman 3, with Bat-Mite as the main villain.

Very true and take into account how packed and insane the premire to Gotham Knight was in Chicago. Yeah I best be prepared. I'll get my ticket next Tues.

I'm just hoping that most people will go to the midnight showing or the later showings on Friday.
I bought tickets to the 9:30AM showing so I could enjoy this film dammit.

If the brothers Nolan came up with the idea to add him in, I'd be all for it.

That's a good idea. I remember seeing Begins that way.
